In a product license agreement (also known as a software license agreement), the company, being licensor, agrees to license proprietary software to a 3rd party. In such a scenario the company does not sell the software, it only licenses it. In other words, the company grants the right to install and run that copy on client’s technology resources, provided the client complies with all the terms of an agreement, commonly known as product license agreement. Such software is supported by additional 3rd party software(s) which are sometimes bundled in a digital video disc storage format (“DVD Pack”).
