(as per Indian Labour Laws):
- Employment Agreement / Appointment Letter
Legally compliant offer and appointment letters with clauses on termination, notice, probation, etc.
- Working Hours and Attendance Policy
Aligned with the Shops & Establishment Act or Factories Act depending on your sector.
- Leave Policy
Includes Earned Leave, Casual Leave, Sick Leave (as per state rules), and national/public holidays.
- Wages & Salary Policy
Must comply with the Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, and Equal Remuneration Act, depending upon corporate office employees or factory workers.
- Sexual Harassment Policy (POSH)
Mandatory under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.
Must include an Internal Committee (IC) if you have 10 or more employees.
- Gratuity Policy
Applicable if you’ve completed 5 or more years in operation under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972.
- Provident Fund (PF) Policy
Mandatory under the EPF Act for organizations with 20+ employees.
- ESIC Policy
Required if employee wages are under ₹21,000 per month (threshold as per current law).
- Code of Conduct & Disciplinary Policy
Covers behaviour, misconduct, confidentiality, and disciplinary procedures.
- Termination and Exit Policy
Compliant with Indian labour laws regarding notice periods, full and final settlements, etc.
- Anti-Discrimination & Equal Opportunity Policy
To align with Article 15 of the Constitution and promote diversity.
- HR Data Privacy & IT Usage Policy
Especially if handling employee data, aligned with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
